![]() ![]() GWL: stay for the fun but leave to eat elsewhere. The next activity pass seems like there would not be enough time to complete in one night. It was a good value for all that it included. The Pup Pass is plenty of activity for kids staying one night. It also helped that we could purchase some adult beverages at opposite ends of the hotel to ease the journey. ![]() The cost of the wand and attraction per kid was included in a package deal (pup pass) but it is well worth the price for hours of entertainment for the kids. I have no idea how long it takes to complete but I would bet the 4 hours we spent walking didn’t even get halfway done. We probably walked a couple of miles helping them with their quest and we weren’t able to finish it. We got it for our kids 9 and 12 and they had a blast running around waving their wands at all of the interactive things as well as hunting for their quest. If you have kids that like like interactive play and you don’t mind walking around then the Magi Quest is money well spent. The price for the meat only dish was insanely overpriced. The bbq was a meager portion, they did not include even one side dish (4 dill pickles and 1/20th of sliced red onions are not a side, that is garnish). The dinner at the bbq restaurant was also barely warm. The family breakfast was bountiful however I think it barely classified as warm. The current food is luke warm, extremely overpriced, and the dinner portions were meager. Just a few years ago they had a wide selection of a breakfast and dinner buffet. The signature water slide at this indoor water park is the Howlin’ Tornado, which is six stories tall and has a thrill level rating of ‘High’. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, and I feel safe there. The Colorado Springs Great Wolf Lodge was the 14th Great Wolf location. Great Wolf Lodge (GWL) is a fun and magical place for kids. I recommend Great Wolf Lodge but make sure you are not going to have to change your date or you will be charged! We are lucky we live close enough to do an overnight at the Lodge. Now I am done with my rant, Great Wolf Lodge is a fun place to take the kids with a variety of activates for all ages. The cost is compared to an amusement park, I am willing to pay for these service and I am still paying when I change my reservation cancelling fees are totally different, I get it. In addition, Great Wolf Lodge is NOT an inexpensive trip, even for one night. I have made changes to very high end hotels and NEVER charged. I am sure this is all documented somewhere on their page in very small writing. If you cancel the reservation it is $50.00. On most hotel sites, you can change your reservation with the understanding that you may pay a higher rate but NEVER have I ever been charged to reschedule! Well, be aware that you have to call and/or chat w/an agent because they will charge you $25.00 plus any increase in the rate, if applicable. I made the reservation however, his dad asked if I could change the date. My grandson loves this place so I promised him for his birthday.
